This is a diorama I made several years ago. It is my first serious attempt using scratchbuilt figures. Except for the radioteam in the center (Verlinden) and the guy firing the MP44 (Jaguar), all these figures are sculpted in epoxy putty around a wire armature. As I said, this was my first attempt. Since then I learned a lot more about sculpting. Some of the figures are not quite perfect when it comes to their anatomy. I still think the whole is an attractive scene, that I would like to share with you. The heads are from different brands. I painted the figures in Humbrol enamels. The disabled halftrack is a fine kit from Dragon, straight from the box. I added some extras and an engine. The ruined wall is a homemade plaster casting. |
