This is Dragon's second new Panther. It was very obvious that a D was to come after the early version A. The kit is nearly identical to the A-panther. It has the typical "D" details like te drumstyle copula, grenade dischargers, double head lights and the spent case port in the turret. You get the same high quality like the former Panther kit. The assembly instructions, in color, in glossy paper, have some errors. The only thing this kit lacks are the, so typical for an early D, extended mudguards and width indicators. I finished the kit in acrylics. The commander figure is an old but superb Verlinden figure, painted in oils and enamels.
